Almost a year after our Go4x4.eu-Iceland expedition, we now have decided to publish some videos of ourselves crossing the highlands on the Gaesavatnaleid sydri (southern “track behind the mountain” from Askja to Nyidalur). In order to save memory on our cameras, only some are shot in colour and feature sound. However, we do think that those videos give all of you out there thinking of crossing the Highlands of Iceland on the Gaesavatnaleid sydri a good idea of the track condition. I should add that it was a pretty dry summer when we went there in 2009. Enjoy watching!
