The Rally Fighter, which was introduced as a concept at the SEMA 2009, will hit the markets this year. Its design is a result of an internet-based competition - in the end, the company Local Motors picked the design of Sangho Kim (see picture below). The fiberglas offroader is 4,8 meters long and only 1,76 meters high. The Rally Fighter is rear-wheel driven, powered by a 286hp 6 cylinder BMW engine and weighs in at a little less than 1500kg. It is actually a kit car, which will be assambled and sold at various service spots all across the US. Prices in the US start at about 50.000 USD. Local Motors plans a first production run of 3000 units, but they don’t rule out the development of various other models. Are you interesting in importing your own Rally Fighter to Europe?
